I'm still loyal, just UPSET!
Who We Are
Today, at the age of 47, Dave Armstrong can remember being an eight year old, devoted fan, of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He never missed a televised game of the 'original six' , staying tuned to the TV every Wednesday and Saturday night.
Regretfully, Dave has been waiting since 1967 for the Leafs to win another Stanley Cup. Although Dave is very frustrated about this LONG wait, Dave continues to be a patient and loyal fan to his team.

While running a sporting good store in Burlington, in 1985, Dave came up
with the concept. A regular customer came into
the store and offered Dave free Leaf tickets. As the Leafs were in last
place, Dave's response was: 'I'd have to wear a
bag over my head if I went to a game'. After making this statement, a light
bulb went off in Dave's head as he thought;
what better way then to make up some bags, to protest how badly my team is
doing?! People may recall in the Toronto
media, back in 1985, Harold Ballard lighting up a flame to one of 'the
Albert I need you' bags.
Here we are, 23 years later and still no Stanley Cup.....so Dave has decided
to revive the concept, but this time he
wants to make a statement about his frustration AND help SickKids at the
same time. This is an inexpensive way of
helping some children and letting the Toronto Maple Leaf organization know
how disappointed we all are.
